Houston Anxiety and Wellness Center is seeking part-time licensed psychologists to provide individual therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and/or parents. This position is in-person and virtual.

About Us

Houston Anxiety and Wellness Centeris a group therapy practice located in Houston, Texas. We provide compassionate and collaborative care for individuals suffering from anxiety and depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and body focused repetitive behaviors, parenting difficulties, and complicated life transitions.

We also help guide and support parents navigating the difficulties of raising anxious children into independent and resilient adults by providing parenting support and parent training.

Our mission is to help sufferers dramatically improve their outlook and quality of life by utilizing evidence-based, life changing treatment. We strive to teach individuals how to change behavior, decrease avoidance, challenge habitual negative self-talk, and dive head first back into their lives.

There are many different virtual and in-person shifts available, including:

Monday: Virtual (Daytime), 4:30p-8:30pm (In Person)

Tuesday: Virtual Only (Daytime and Evening)

Wednesdays: Virtual (Daytime), 4:30p-8:30pm (In Person)

Thursday: Virtual Only (Daytime and Evening)

Friday: Virtual (Daytime), 4:30p-8:30pm (In Person)

Saturday: 10am - 3pm (In Person), 3:30pm - 7:30pm (In Person)

Sunday: 10am - 3pm (In Person), 3:30pm - 7:30pm (In Person)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a:

• Ph.D.or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and is a licensed psychologistin good standing with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
• Be PSYPACT Certified and have Authorization to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT)

Pay: $125.00 - $165.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 15 per week
